A couple of weeks ago I attended Blogger Bash in New York City. It was my first time going to a blogger conference just for myself so I was super excited. Frankly, my goals were to survive. I have a lot to talk about but I am going to have to break it up into several posts. Blogger Bash was set up as a series of parties and so I want to talk about each one individually.
Element Associates Social Suite
This party actually happened the afternoon of the second day of Blogger Bash. When we first walked into the space we were given a bag and told that we could pick out a Covergirl Colorlicious lip gloss! Covergirl Colorlicious Lip Gloss is now available nationwide. The thin I like most about it is that it feels weightless. I hate the feeling of goopy gloss on my lips, and this one is light, and NOT sticky! Love it!
Next we were given our choice of a great dress. Have you ever heard of JetSet Dress? It is this awesome dress that can be worn a multitude of ways. I grabbed a black one so that I can use it with everything.
Next I went and had a mini-mani thanks to Covergirl (again!). After my mani I was ready for something to drink so I strolled over and talked to the people from Alex’s Lemonade Stand. I am sure you have heard of them. They are an organization that is dedicated to realizing eradicating childhood cancer.
After my drink I was feeling a little hungry and I saw some cake. So I headed over to grab a slice and noticed what was being celebrated. Smokey the Bear! Smokey is turning 70 this year, can you believe it? After living in an area of the United States that deals with horrible forest fires every year I know how important it is to teach our kids the dangers of fire, and proper fire safety.
After having cake with Smokey a glimmer caught my eye and I high tailed it over to the Joseph Nogucci table to see their newest jewelry collection. I got to try on all kinds of bracelets, including a Harry Potter Deathly Hollows bracelet. They had some really nice stuff and we basically got to play dress up for 10 minutes.
So I’m a nerd, so what?
I saw some fun going on out of the corner of my eye where ladies were flopping all over the floor and stomping on something. So I walked over to play with the fabulous Wubble Bubble Ball! I already did a review of this great toy here. You can go over and read all about it! This is a fun toy that my kids just can’t get enough of!
Finally I stopped to talk with the great people at Auto Tex Pink. They want to literally “Wipe Out Breast Cancer.” A donation is made from each purchase of Auto Tex Pink wiper blades to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. And really who doesn’t want to help with that! Plus, I love pink!
I had such a good afternoon chatting with other bloggers, getting my nails done, and meeting with some great brands that give back. It was a great party, really one of the highlights of Blogger Bash!

August 1, 2014 16:42My big box came while I was on vacation last week. I just opened it two days ago BUT I did see a lot of people are just now getting them. I think they were shipped ground so the further away from NY you are the longer it is going to take! Hopefully you get yours soon!
