*This is the 5th in a series of posts about a blogging conference that I went to in NYC in July. the conference was called Blogger Bash and it was a series of parties.
Baby Palooza
Baby Palooza was a party at Blogger Bash that had all things baby. Since I don’t have babies I didn’t really spend much time looking at the items. I did walk through and talk to the brands and mingle a little with the other bloggers. I also got a feature nail done with Jamberry.
Really I was hanging around just waiting so that I could have a good spot for the Anne Geddes interview!
Yes, that’s right, Anne Geddes. If you were a girl who grew up at all in the 90’s then you know you had a poster, book, cards, notebook or folder that had those adorable babies on it. I know I did. I actually have books of her photos.
The interview (which was done by the fabulous Joey Fortman) was very intimate. We all sat very close on large leather ottomans while she showed us pictures that will be in her upcoming 2015 calendar. She was very honest and very kind. She answered all of our questions and made us laugh. She was wonderful.
After the interview she gave each of us a SIGNED copy of her new book. Here is the back of my head as she is signing my book and talking to me. You know it is me because you can see my blue hair.
While she was signing my book I asked her what her if she had a favorite photo out of all of her photos that she has ever done and she answered, “No. All of them are special in their own way. All of the babies were beautiful.”
She was also kind enough to give me an EXTRA signed copy of her new book to giveaway to one of you here on my blog.
Her new book, Little Blessings is a beautiful gift book featuring timeless and new photographs from Anne Geddes. Each page pairs one of Anne’s iconic images with unique and thoughtful authored quotes and blessings that highlight the joy, beauty, and wonder that new babies bring to every family.

August 12, 2014 22:16Love this, when I got my first checkbook in the late 90’s I ordered the Anne G. collection. I loved the babies with the cabbage and the babies as ducks. I love them all the little white bunny rabbits. She is always spot on.
