Here we go…
I am thought-less today. I have been so busy cleaning and unpacking the house that my mind is just running through all of the things that I need to get done. I have tried for 3 minutes to sit here and write something but all I can think of is my shopping list and to-do list. Can the 3 minutes that I typed nothing count toward my 5? I am guessing that might be cheating, or maybe that is the point. It is just whatever comes out in the 5 minutes that I sit here in front of the screen.
Plus I need to be making dinner. We had an early lunch (no breakfast either) and the kids are starting to grumble… actually it is the husband. He needs food. Dinner tonight will be meatballs, mashed potatoes, and corn on the cob. Nothing green, and no salad. As my girls would say, “I just can’t even today.”
Which reminds me of a joke:
Q:Why do girls hang out in odd numbers?
A: Because they just can’t even.
Here is a picture of me right now wearing the shirt that describes my attitude. I did not plan on it for today but I threw on the shirt from the top of the clean pile. If you have seen this movie you know just how I feel:
And here is a good shot of me standing in my office facing the wall with the mess of the front room behind me. Wish me luck. I might get it cleaned up in time to move again.
This was my 5 minute Stream of Consciousness Sunday post. It’s five minutes of your time and a brain dump. Want to try it? Here are the rules…
- Set a timer and write for 5 minutes.
- Write an intro to the post if you want but don’t edit the post. This is writing in the raw.
- Publish it somewhere. Anywhere. The back door to your blog if you want. But make it accessible.
- Link back to this post (feel free to use the SOC Sunday graphic).
- Visit your fellow bloggers and show some love.
