I have recently discovered the beauty of snack prep, especially the Greek yogurt kind. The trickiest part of eating right, for me, is the snacking part. If all you need is a snack, who wants to spend more than 2 min preparing? No thank you!
Greek Yogurt Snack Prep
I had some extra berries after breakfast today so I thought, why not put them in a container with some Greek yogurt for a snack later on? Then I thought, there are lots of things I put in Greek yogurt for a quick snack. If I just put several together right now I’ll have a week’s worth of nutritious snacks at the ready.
Now that I’ve done this once, I’ve streamlined the process of production. I can meal prep snacks for my whole week in about 15 minutes. Awesome!
Step 1
Plan out what types of mix ins you want to pair with Greek yogurt. The options are endless but I’ll share my top 5 favorites.
- Various fresh berries
- Applesauce and granola
- Peanut butter and chocolate chips
- Protein bar and nuts
- Pineapple, blueberry, and coconut
Step 2
Get 5 (or whatever amount for what you’re doing) stackable Tupperware containers. Add ¾ cup Greek yogurt to each container. You can do more or less depending on the amount of protein you want per serving.
Step 3
Place one variety of mix in’s in each container. Top with a drizzle of honey. Stack them up in the fridge and Sha Zam! Snacks for the whole week at your fingertips.
My personal favorite is the peanut butter and chocolate chips. It’s almost like peanut butter cookie dough. Perfect for a late night snack.
