I remember being a 12 year old girl. I remember thinking everything was the end of the world. I didn’t think I was pretty. I didn’t think that I was smart. I thought that my parents didn’t understand. I was happy but uncomfortable with myself at the same time. Yeah, I was a typical tween/teen aged girl.

When my daughter turned 12 a few weeks ago I noticed some of the same things in her that I remembered from myself when I was her age. I wanted to do something special for her so when iBbeautiful.com reached out to me to review one of their boxes I agreed. I think it was the special little thing that I was looking for.

My daughter loved everything that came in her little box.

• Two’s Company Ugg Lip Gloss. She loves to attach things to her backpack and she is always in need of a lip gloss, so this one with the cute shape and key ring attachment is perfect.
• Pink Flappy Mittens. She loves these kind of gloves. No need to choose between keeping your hands warm and texting.
• Alligator Tote: We call it the “agalator wallet”. Perfect size to get tucked into her backpack (obviously, she is not a purse girl).
• Stretch Tattoo Choker: So on the Today show this past week they were talking about how chokers are back in, and how they are the hot accessory for this season.

 She of course had a couple of favorite items.

The Pink House Suede Buckle Bracelet

My daughter is not a girly-girl so this is a perfect accessory for her. It is cute and stylish but it has a slight edgy-ness that suits her personality.

Curly Eraser Pencil

She might not be girly-girl but she is very smart and grade driven. She gets good grades and LOVES school supplies. You do not want to know how long I spend at office supply stores when she comes with me. This fun pencil/eraser is perfect for her.
