I am linking up today with Stephanie of A Grande Life today for our Blogger Bash link up. This is a great way to get to know the other bloggers that are coming to Blogger Bash before the event. And for those of you that are just readers, you can get to know me a little bit better :)
Blogger Bash Coffee Talk
1. Name: Kendra Frampton
2. Where are you from? Born in Utah, Father was military so I lived all over the world, currently I live about an hour outside of DC.
3. How long have you been blogging? I have been blogging since September 2007 (off and on).
4. What is the meaning behind your blog name? I was a stay at home mom of 4 under 6 and my husband was working a job that required him to travel A LOT! So I always used to ask him on his way out the door, “When’s My Vacation?” knowing good and well that his business trips were no vacation. So one day he told me to write about it. So I did. I sat down and started a blog that night.
5. What are you most looking forward to at Blogger Bash? Meeting other bloggers in real life! And Anne Geddes. I won one of the contests and I get to do the Meet and Greet. The 16 year old girl inside me that had all of her calendars is squealing with glee!
6. What three words describe you the best? Logical, Mischievous, Social/Outgoing
7. Got kids? How many? I have 4 kids. Ages 16, 13, 11, 10 (on July 29th) Aren’t they amazing? Before I had kids I thought that I hated teenagers. Now I realize that the older they get the more I get along with them. I love seeing them grow into their personalities.
8. We all have a pet peeve. What is your #1? I have too many to choose just 1! So here are my top two.
First: People that don’t know the difference between their, there, and they’re.
Second: Couples that sit next to each other in a booth when it is just the two of them. So uncomfortable for everyone. You can’t talk without tweaking your neck in strange ways to see each other. Your arms bump when you eat. It is just awkward. Blah! Just sit across from each other.
9. If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be? It is a tie between 2 people. 1. My great grandfather. I was born on his birthday several years after he died but I feel a strange connection to him. Plus, he raised my father and I have quite a few questions to ask him about that. 2. Tim Burton. I am amazed and obsessed with his mind. Where does he get his ideas? Truly awed by his talent.
10. Show me your face! Here I am crooked smile and all!

Oh my, what a beautiful batch of kiddles! What an amazing family! Have to say, after teaching middle school for years, I do love them as they get older…
